1. Who operates GameBall
GameBall is operated by 6054056 Canada Inc. in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Questions may be sent to admin@gameball.ca.
2. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using GameBall, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate account information, protect your password, and use only the account registered to your own unique email address. Accounts are intended for adults and for other users participating with appropriate parent, guardian, or organizational authorization.
3. Independent organizational tools
GameBall provides planning, record, communication, and coordination tools. It is not medical, legal, accounting, safeguarding, or association-rule advice. Official law, governing-body rules, association policies, qualified professional directions, emergency services, and authorized medical decisions always take priority.
4. Handbooks and Digital Vault licence
Eligible handbook purchases may include access to the matching 2026 Manager, Coach, or Trainer section of the Digital Vault after verification. Access codes, Amazon Order IDs, and benefits are subject to the printed conditions and may be used only as stated. Unless a product page says otherwise, files are licensed to the purchaser for use with one team and one season. You may adapt working copies for that authorized use, but may not resell, publish, share publicly, upload to a shared template library, or distribute the files as a competing product.
5. Digital Vault purchases, tax, delivery, and refunds
Before payment, the checkout identifies the seller, product, edition, price, currency, applicable tax, total, delivery method, access period, licence conditions, and refund terms. Stripe calculates applicable tax from the billing information supplied at checkout. Paid access is delivered to the purchaser's GameBall account after GameBall receives Stripe's verified payment confirmation. Keep the purchase-confirmation page and Stripe receipt for your records.
Digital Vault Final-Sale and Refund Policy
GameBall Digital Vault purchases provide immediate access to downloadable and editable digital files. Because these files can be downloaded, copied and retained after access is granted, Digital Vault purchases are final sale and are not eligible for change-of-mind refunds.
Please review the product description, edition, included resources, licence conditions, price, currency and system requirements before completing your purchase.
Contact admin@gameball.ca promptly if:
- you were charged more than once for the same purchase;
- the transaction was unauthorized;
- your payment succeeded but access was not provided;
- the purchased files are materially defective or unavailable; or
- the product received is materially different from its description.
GameBall will investigate and, as appropriate, correct the access problem, replace a defective file or issue a refund where required by applicable law. A full refund, payment reversal or successful chargeback terminates the related Digital Vault access.
Nothing in this policy limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Handbooks bought through Amazon are subject to Amazon's checkout, delivery, return, and refund processes. Included handbook Vault access follows the printed access conditions and may be withdrawn if the qualifying purchase is refunded, reversed, or invalidated.
6. Your authority and team information
You may enter or upload information only when you have authority to do so and only for a legitimate team, league, tournament, safety, or participation purpose. Use the smallest amount of personal information needed. Do not enter medical, emergency, financial, identity-document, or other highly sensitive information into a feature unless GameBall expressly identifies that feature as ready for that purpose and your organization has authorized the use.
7. Minors and family records
Adults and authorized organizations are responsible for deciding when a player or family record is appropriate, providing required notices, obtaining parent or guardian authorization, and assigning access correctly. Children should not create accounts or submit personal information independently. A GameBall account is not the same as a player or participant record.
8. Free Team Core, paid features, and organizer-sponsored access
Free Team Core provides the displayed core team features without a per-person charge. Team HQ and organizer products may require a paid plan, pilot agreement, or active entitlement. A team remains a separate, permanent workspace when it joins or leaves a league or tournament.
League or tournament organizers may invite an existing GameBall team or provide a new team with a claim link. Organizer-sponsored access is limited in duration and scope to the features and information reasonably required for that competition. It does not grant the organizer access to family contact lists, medical or emergency information, team finances, or unrelated private Team HQ records. Creating a team placeholder does not activate a participant charge; organizer billing begins when participation is activated under the applicable plan.
Team HQ, League HQ, and Tournament HQ remain pilot products. Features, introductory pricing, and access boundaries may change while permissions, mobile use, notifications, billing, and role handoffs are tested. Pilot participants must follow the displayed data boundaries and promptly report access concerns.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse GameBall, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, impersonate another person, upload unlawful or malicious content, scrape protected resources, bypass a payment or access control, or use GameBall to harass, discriminate, endanger a participant, or violate another person's rights.
10. Availability, changes, and suspension
GameBall may update features, pricing, policies, access rules, or these Terms. Material changes will be identified by a new version date. Access may be limited or suspended to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, maintain the service, or operate the pilot safely.
11. Third-party services
Amazon purchases, hosting, email delivery, file storage, and Stripe payment and tax services are provided by third parties under their own terms. GameBall is not responsible for a third party's independent service, availability, or policies. GameBall is not affiliated with or endorsed by Hockey Canada, Amazon, or any association unless expressly stated.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, GameBall is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that every form, workflow, or feature fits every jurisdiction, association, team, or situation. You remain responsible for official requirements, decisions, backups, access assignments, and safe use. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply in another jurisdiction. Contact admin@gameball.ca before starting a formal dispute so the issue can be reviewed.
